First and foremost, we would like to send you and your loved ones our best wishes. Sincerely hoping that everyone is safe & sound.
Looking back at this tumultuous year, we can either seize the opportunities this new change in paradigm has brought about; or lament ourselves in these challenging times.
In 2020, the unthinkable has happened. Confinement, movement & business restrictions, suddenly we find ourselves working from home, the lack of coordination from global governments to find an effective formula in tackling the invisible enemy, and much more. In this unsettling process, let's hope that we have had time to reflect and identify what is really important to us in life, and act upon it.
Notwithstanding, start-ups have adaptability, resilience and perseverance as core attributes in their DNA. Scaling up a start-up is arduous, it seems as a continuous battle against the world to materialise ones vision, it wears you out and has its constant ups and downs which is not for the fainthearted. To make matters worse, COVID-19 comes out of the blue, potentially paralysing that one project that was going to propel you to success, completely changing the landscape. A new normal.
Riding these past months has been a bumpy road, we have had to adapt, make changes, and carefully select our priorities; in order to select where we allocate our resources most effectively.
These decisions would determine if we survived or not.
Like the phoenix rising from its ashes. A company with a robust team following a clear vision can be badly hurt, but not knocked out. So, if you are reading this now, you are COVID-19 survivors, just like us. More than a physical, this is a moral victory, to keep on pushing and pursuing our dreams to one day fulfil our vision and reality.
As this situation unfolds, we see the light at the end of the tunnel. This change in paradigm, has ignited dramatic changes in the business world, favouring the digitalisation of processes, giving a window of opportunity for those who seize this opportunity.
So, having said this. We wish you a merry Christmas and prosperous 2021 which we believe will be a great year!
